Dorit

Hello everybody my name is Dorit. I’m 19 years old and I’m doing a training as an assistant in graphic design at FORTIS-AKADEMIE. During this time I had two internships in an advertising agency and a photographic studio. I also took part in a French-German project in Paris where I gained an Europass. Now I’m here in London with six other mates for another internship within our training. Thereby I hope to improve my English skills, to gather a lot of new experiences and to establish contacts. Because it’s my first time in London I also want to see the city and visit the famous sights. Furthermore I think these four weeks will be good for our team spirit. What I want to do when I’m back home:  At first I want to finish my training as best as possible. After this time I have to decide whether I want to do a third year to become a media designer or if I want to study, maybe communication design and photography – Let’s see… 
With the knowledge I will have gained I hope to be well prepared for working live.  I think working in a marketing company is what I want to do in the future. Since I was al little girl I like to draw and paint. Gradually I knew that I want to do something creative after school. Therefore I do this training. In my free time I like to go swimming and to meet friends. Another hobby of mine is horse-riding.  Moreover I’m interested in photography. No matter what I´m doing my family supports me. They help me to do all the things I want to do. I can say that my family inspires me to improve myself further. They make me happy. My life philosophy: "Life is too short to make a long face"
